The brief
3di are technical authors and their client, Vodafone, needed a website and bespoke system to advertise that their product, One Net, joins up their customers landline and mobile communications so that they're always connected.
What we did
3di manage the content of the system using Madcap Flare, which outputs to html. We built a layer on top in PHP to manage the multiple versions of content and present them in an on-brand design. Powerful searching is achieved using Solr, which is capable of indexing all content types developed by 3di including html and pdf.
What this achieved
Using what we built, 3di were able to continue using their preferred content authoring system and automatically published this to the branded website.
